I uh.. I think you mis-aligned the text bubble in the first comic wrong. It seems like the red-bearded one is calling "Odin" not "father" like in the second one, but "son" in the first one, XD.

Thor: "Son, have you seen my red suit? I'm going to need it tonight" is what it looks like to me
