Ok Pathfinder skill rules not 3.5 I can live with that. As long as Metamagic reduction, reserve feats, Warlock or Artificer are on the table I'm good.

It's been made clear before that it was taking Pathfinder's skill set. Although it's also shown to incorporate elements from non d20 systems such as MMOs.

In 3rd edition, you could put up to 4 skill ranks in a class skill even at 1st level. In Pathfinder, skill ranks are capped at your level, but having a rank in a class skill gives a +3 to make up for it.
